Events That Make a Difference!
At Moss Vale Public School, our P&C fundraising team is a vibrant and energetic group dedicated to creating memorable events that bring our school community together while raising much-needed funds for our students. Every dollar we raise goes straight back into the school to support learning, creativity, well-being, and fun!
Our events are more than just fundraisers—they’re joy-filled experiences that our kids (and parents!) look forward to all year.
Our Events
Here are just a few of the exciting events we host throughout the year:
The Annual Country Fair
Our biggest event of the year—and one of the highlights of the Moss Vale community calendar! The Country Fair is bursting with excitement: think rides, food trucks, live entertainment, games, craft stalls, cake auctions, raffle prizes, and more. It’s a massive celebration of school spirit and community pride that draws visitors from all over the Highlands.
Sausage Sizzles & School BBQs
Whether it’s at the Athletics Carnival, Book Week, Election Day, or a pop-up school event, our legendary BBQs serve up tasty sausages and sizzling school spirit. These are a fun and easy way for volunteers to get involved—and they’re always a crowd favourite!
Mother’s Day & Father’s Day Stalls
We love giving students the opportunity to pick out the perfect little gift for Mum, Dad, or someone special in their life. These much-loved stalls are a sweet tradition that teach kids about giving and bring big smiles to proud parents and carers.
Easter Raffle
One of our most egg-citing events! Families donate chocolate eggs and goodies to create bountiful Easter hampers, which are raffled off in the lead-up to the holidays. It’s always a huge hit and adds a little extra sparkle to the end of Term 1.

Thanks to the dedication, time, and generosity of our incredible volunteers, we've been able to provide so many vital resources and improvements for our students, including:

✅ Excursion buses, so no student misses out on off-site learning
✅ Eye-catching school banners to celebrate achievements

🎨 Supporting Creativity at Moss Vale Public – One Project at a Time 🎨
At Moss Vale Public School, we believe in nurturing the whole child—and that includes championing their creative voices. That’s why the P&C was so proud to help fund the printing of All & Sundry, a stunning magazine created by students, for students.
This very special publication was launched during the 2023 Education Week Assembly, and it’s a true celebration of the imagination, talent, and passion of our Mossy kids. Filled with original artwork, craft, photography, and creative writing, All & Sundry showcases the diverse talents of our students—and all of it created in their own time, outside of regular school hours.
There was so much enthusiasm for the project that even with 48 beautifully designed pages, many wonderful submissions didn’t make the final cut. That just goes to show how deeply valued creative expression is by our students—and how vital it is that we continue to support opportunities like this.
