Moss Vale PS Country Fair – A Celebration of Community & Purpose
📣 Important MVPS Country Fair Update 📣
After much consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision that the Moss Vale Public School Country Fair will not go ahead in 2025.
We know how much this event means to our school community, but we’re already turning our focus toward making next year’s 2026 Country Fair absolutely EPIC! 🎉

A Look Back on Last Year’s Fair
Friday, 1st November 2024 was a day to remember!
Our Country Fair was bigger, better, and more joyful than ever, filled with rides, activities, entertainment, and market stalls designed to delight guests of all ages.
From thrilling rides and classic carnival games to delicious food and handmade treasures, the day brought together families, friends, and the wider community in true Moss Vale spirit.
Powered by Volunteers, Backed by Community
The Country Fair is a major highlight of our school calendar, and it simply wouldn't be possible without the dedication and heart of our incredible volunteer team. Parents, carers, staff, and friends of the school all pitched in—alongside generous support from local businesses and the Southern Highlands community—to bring the event to life.
Every year, our team works hard to build on the success of the last, creating an event that not only raises vital funds but strengthens our school community through fun, laughter, and shared purpose.
Where Your Support Goes
Thanks to your support over the past two fairs, we’ve been able to turn dreams into reality:
✅ A sensory play space in our main playground, designed to provide inclusive, calming experiences for all students
✅ A wheelchair-accessible kitchen garden where students grow, harvest, and cook what they plant—learning hands-on life skills in a beautiful outdoor space
In 2024, we set our sights on another meaningful goal:
📚 An outdoor, all-accessible sheltered reading space—a quiet, inviting nook where students can relax and immerse themselves in a book, recharge during the day, and experience the joy of reading in the fresh air. This project is about more than just books—it's about creating a peaceful, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Taking a break this year from planning the fair, will allow us to finish bringing all of these developments to life, with all the finishing touches, so that we can showcase these fantastic areas at the next fair, and you can see for yourself where all of the proceeds from our past fairs have gone!
Get Involved
Whether you helped run a stall, donated goods, sponsored a ride, or simply showed up on the day to enjoy the festivities—thank you. Your involvement makes a lasting impact.
If you’d like to join the Country Fair team, we’d love to have you on board! Whether you're a planner, decorator, cake-baker, or just someone who loves seeing kids smile, there’s a place for you.
