Clothing Pool Opening Hours

Our Moss Vale Public School Clothing Pool is proudly run by dedicated volunteers and offers a great selection of affordable, good-quality pre-loved uniforms. It’s a convenient, sustainable, and cost-effective option for families—and every purchase supports the school!

For Term 2, the Clothing Pool will be open at the following times (weather and volunteer availability permitting):

🕘 Monday Morning – Approx. 8:45am to 9:00am

🕘 Tuesday Morning – Approx. 8:45am to 9:00am

🕓 Tuesday Afternoon – Approx. 2:45pm to 3:00pm

🕘 Wednesday Morning – Approx. 8:45am to 9:00am

🕓 Wednesday Afternoon (fortnightly) – Approx. 2:45pm to 3:00pm

Please note: Morning sessions are typically held around school drop-off time, and afternoon sessions around school pick-up. Times may vary slightly depending on volunteer availability.

We stock a range of pre-loved Moss Vale PS items including shirts, shorts, pants, jumpers, jackets, hats, and more. While stock depends on donations, we do our best to keep essential items available year-round.

Donations

We rely on donations of pre-loved MVPS items to stock the Clothing Pool.

The Clothing Pool supplies pre-loved Moss Vale Public School uniform items to our school community, and as such we completely rely on donations of outgrown items that are still in good condition.

Please ensure that all donations are bagged up and:

✅ MVPS uniform only.

✅ Not torn, stained or damaged.

✅ Washed and clean.

Please drop off your donations to the clothing pool roller door, or to the office if it is raining. We appreciate all donations. Thank you!

Please note: We cannot accept non-school uniform items e.g. Big W pants etc. Please drop these off to your nearest charity store.

Lost Property

The Clothing Pool also looks after Lost Property, and everything un-labelled will end up here. If your child has lost something, please send them up to the Clothing Pool to check at pick up or drop off time.

At the end of every term, we will do a Lost Property drive to try and re-unite kids with their clothes, so keep an eye on Facebook for when this is happening. All items not collected at the end of each term will be taken home and washed by our Clothing Pool Coordinator, and donated to the Clothing Pool for sale at the beginning of the next term.

Payment Options at the Clothing Pool

We know that flexibility matters, so at the Moss Vale PS Clothing Pool, we offer a range of payment methods to make shopping as easy and accessible as possible for all families.

You can choose from the following options when purchasing pre-loved uniform items:

Cash

We accept cash payments on-site during opening hours. Please try to bring small denominations if possible, as our volunteers may have limited change available.

Credit Card / EFTPOS

We offer secure card payments via Square. This allows you to tap and go using:

• Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard)

• Debit cards

• Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay)

Please note: All card transactions incur a 1.9% Square merchant fee, which is automatically added at checkout.

Bank Transfer (Direct Deposit)

Prefer to pay online? You can make a direct bank transfer either before or immediately after your purchase.

If you’re paying by bank transfer, please ensure you use the correct reference so we can match your payment to your purchase. Proof of transfer may be requested if payment hasn’t cleared before collection.

All money from Clothing Pool sales go directly back to the P&C and helping the school and our kids.

Volunteer at The Clothing Pool

The Moss Vale PS Clothing Pool is run entirely by volunteers, and we couldn’t keep it running without the time, energy, and kindness of parents and carers like you.

If you can spare even 20 minutes before or after school, you can make a real difference to our school community. Whether it's helping families find the right uniform, tidying up the racks, or processing payments—it all helps things run smoothly and supports our students.
