Saddle up, Moss Vale! The MVPS Wild West Country Fair is riding into town on Friday 6th November 2026, and it’s set to be our biggest, boldest, and most exciting celebration yet.
This year, we’re bringing the spirit of the frontier to life with a rootin’-tootin’ Wild West theme — think bustling wagons, dazzling performers, pony rides, sideshow fun, delicious treats, thrilling rides, and plenty of community cheer. Whether you’re a cowboy or cowgirl, a proud parent, or a local legend, there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy.
So dust off your boots, round up your friends, and mark your calendars — the Wild West is coming to MVPS, and you won’t want to miss it!

Our Wild West-themed Moss Vale Public School Country Fair is shaping up to be bigger, brighter and more joyful than ever, bringing together our school, families and the wider Southern Highlands community for an afternoon packed with rides, entertainment, activities, food, stalls and plenty of Wild West fun.
From thrilling rides and classic carnival games to delicious food, local talent and treasures to take home, there will be something to keep cowboys, cowgirls and fairgoers of all ages entertained.
So dust off your boots, grab your hat and get ready to saddle up for the biggest MVPS Country Fair yet! 🤠🌵

Wristbands purchased by MVPS families will be delivered to the eldest child's classroom on the day of the fair.
Wristbands purchased by community members and non-MVPS families will be available for collection from the P&C table at the fair or from the school office (during school hours) in the week prior to the fair.

Fair Packs will go home with students on Thursday 24 September, containing everything families need to start getting ready for the fair — including a raffle ticket book and Golden Ticket entry form.
Every student from every family who returns their completed and sold raffle book will go into the draw to win the ultimate Golden Ticket! ⭐

🧁 Bake Stall
Bake Stall with home baked cakes, slices, biscuits and sweet treats.
Year 1 — you're on! It's tradition! All year one students will be sent home with a cake box the week before the fair, and will be kindly asked to bring back some delicious sweet treat baked goods for our bake stall, on the morning of the fair. All ingredients must be clearly labelled.
This year though we're challenging all of our wonderful MVPS families to get creative and bring along some delicious Wild West-themed sweet treats. Think cowboy cupcakes, cactus cookies, sheriff biscuits and anything else your imagination can dream up!
🍭 Lolly Stall
No Country Fair is complete without lollies! Fill your bag with your favourite sweet treats and enjoy a little sugar-fuelled fair fun.
🤠 Wild West Stall
Need to complete your cowboy or cowgirl look, or want to take home a souvenir of the day? Our Wild West Stall will have everything you need to embrace the theme — with plenty of fun surprises along the way.
💦 WHO WANTS TO DUNK A TEACHER?
YES — IT'S BACK!
Ever wanted revenge for all that homework? Now's your chance! Our Teacher Dunk Tank will give students the opportunity to take aim and send their favourite (or perhaps least favourite!) teacher into the water.

The countdown to the 2026 Moss Vale Public School Wild West Country Fair is officially on! In the lead up, we're bringing a little taste of the Wild West into your home with a collection of fun, hands-on activities for the whole family.
Whether you're growing your own garden, creating colourful Western decorations, or designing a pair of spectacular cowboy or cowgirl boots, there's something for every young cowboy and cowgirl to enjoy. Best of all, your creations can help get you into the Wild West spirit ahead of the Fair on Friday 6 November 2026. Saddle up, get creative, and have some holiday fun!

Plant seeds, grow succulents, and discover how even the toughest cowboys and pioneers relied on gardens to thrive.

Create colourful fabric bunting to decorate your home, classroom, or even your Country Fair stall with authentic Western flair.

Grab your pencils, markers, or paints and design the most spectacular pair of cowboy or cowgirl boots this side of the frontier!
